Technicolor – PostWorks New York Names Jazwinski and Herzfeld to Head Team Sales

NEW YORK—December 7, 2011—Technicolor – PostWorks New York, the city’s most comprehensive provider of post production services for film and television, has appointed a new senior sales team. Carol Jazwinski will serve as Senior Vice President, Broadcast Sales and Charlie Herzfeld will serve as Senior Vice President, Theatrical Sales. Both will also provide sales support for the facility’s growing commercial clientele.

Jazwinski and Herzfeld will lead a new effort to grow sales on a national basis and enhance services to film and television producers. The company’s continued growth in both the film and television markets also demands the greater focus of dedicated sales teams.

Technicolor – PostWorks New York was formed last month when Slate Media Group purchased the assets of Technicolor Creative Services, New York, and PostWorks, New York. The combined company offers the broadest range of post production services in its market, including film laboratory services, dailies processing, creative editorial, color grading, editorial finishing, digital intermediate, graphics design, duplication, standards conversion, sound editorial and sound mixing.

James-Nio added that Jazwinski and Herzfeld will also leverage the resources of other Slate Media Group companies, including rental companies Hula Post and Wexler, to provide their clients with additional new services.

“Our aim is to retain the independent spirit and attention to customer service that both PostWorks and Technicolor are known for, while adding the access to resources that come from being part of a large, national company,” said Jazwinski. “We believe it’s a great combination.”


“Carol and I will share responsibility for the key components of our business—episodic television, theatrical features and commercials—as the most experienced sales team in New York,” adds Herzfeld.

Jazwinski previously served as Senior Vice President of Sales for PostWorks New York, a position she held for 11 years. She has broad experience servicing scripted and unscripted television productions. Jazwinski previously held senior sales positions with Company 3, Manhattan Transfer and Post Perfect, all in New York.

Herzfeld brings extensive experience in feature films, servicing both major studio productions and independents. He previously served for eight years as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Technicolor Creative Services, New York, and has a background in film production and editorial. Passionate about the art of cinematography, he has been an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 2003.
